Follow the progress of Block B2 from the first brick!
Envelope
Start February 2026Expected to end
Status: in progress
When building a group of houses it's essential the construction is sound from the beginning. This presents new challenges for the team. To begin with, there is a complete section dedicated to stabilising the blocks from the start. As with all the other stages of construction, the envelope stage takes place in steps.
This milestone includes
Concrete ground floor slab
Start February 2026Expected to end
The construction of the houses requires a strong foundation and skeleton. A concrete slab on ground floor is a flat, horizontal layer of poured concrete that sits directly on the ground and forms the solid base of a building’s ground level.
Blockwork from ground floor to roof level
Start Expected to end
Blockwork is the construction of walls using concrete or masonry blocks to form the building’s structural or partition walls, supporting floors and enclosing the structure.
Joist floors
Start Expected to end
Levels 1 and 2 are joist floors, meaning they are structural floor systems made of horizontal framing members (joists) that support the floor above and transfer loads to the beams, walls, or columns.
